Treasure of the Month - February 2015
South View Lodge - 53 Kent Road in Southsea
Arthur Conan Doyle remembered his time in Portsmouth fondly. He purchased this house in Southsea in June 1896 for the sum of £1,800. For some years it was the home of Dr Arthur Vernon Ford, the eye specialist, an old friend of Conan Doyle.
